Motor Rail 1369 Moves To Armley Mills

On Saturday 5th April 2003, MR1369 left the Moseley Railway Trust's Buxworth workshops for a stay at Armley Mills Museum in Leeds.

The locomotive is on display in the locomotive shed, along with other locomotives from the Armley Mills collection that have Leeds connections.

Amrley Mills regularly steam their 18" gauge Hunslet locomotive "Jack" on Bank Holiday Weekends, and the Tin Turtle may be running on some of these days.

MR1369 Leaves for Leeds

The next steam days are over the Easter weekend: Friday 18th April 2003, Saturday 19th April 2003 and Monday 21st April 2003.

The edition of Salvage Squad featuring the restoration of MR1369 will be broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 at 20:00 on Monday 3rd February 2003. A showing on Discovery Europe is expected soon after.
